Eastside Concerned Citizens, Inc. is more than just a neighborhood association. We are a family dedicated to the progress and improvement of all members.
We have been working diligently to identify and address the needs of this community and to share our assessments, ideas and outcomes with others. We are one of the City of Savannah's 55 Neighborhood Associations. Our boundaries are as follows:
As an association, we encourage all who reside within our boundaries, and those outside as well, to become members of ECCI.
THE PERKS AND PRIVILEGES OF MEMBERSHIP
There is not better way to help the community than by being active and aware of the events and issues in the neighborhood. The meetings allow the neighborhood family to share ideas and have input regarding the activities and improvements that will benefit our neighborhood and enhance the lives of residents.
Seniors and other residents who participate are eligible for special discounts and assistance provided through community partnerships and other agencies.
Additionally, Eastside Concerned Citizens, Inc. provides activities for youth by linking with other community-based organizations with similar goals. City block grants, as well as state, federal and foundation grants, business partnerships and private donations are pursued to accomplish our task of serving our residents and enhancing the quality of life for all.
We provide information and resources for our members so that they can make informed choices and have a forum to voice their concerns and opinions. Because each member has an active voice, we value every member and the unique contributions each makes to our community family.
Membership in Eastside Concerned Citizens, Inc. is FREE and with over 2000 documented members, we guarantee that ECCI has something for everyone. All interested residents are asked to attend our monthly meetings every 2nd Saturday, 11:00 am - 12:00 noon at "Our House". It is our desire that everyone will be an active member so that the organization can continue to grow.
ECCI is one of many partners working with the City of Savannah's "Step Up" initiative.
